It is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law. Our thoughts are with our colleagues in the field, who are demonstrating admirable courage in extreme conditions.\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>For several weeks now, the Israeli army has been announcing an imminent ground offensive on Gaza City, intensifying bombings, and our team on the ground fears for the continuity of its operations in the area.<br \/><\/p>\n<p>Security conditions no longer allow our colleagues to continue their activities in Gaza City. Doctors of the World has been forced to suspend its operations indefinitely in this area by closing its two clinics. This now leaves 600 patients followed by our teams each day without care.<br \/><\/p>\n<h2>\u201cCivilians, humanitarians, and healthcare personnel have been targeted for nearly two years\u2014it is high time this stops!\u201d Manon Hourdin, Director of International Operations and Strategic Development<\/h2>\n<p>Doctors of the World urges Israeli authorities to immediately end attacks against civilians and humanitarians and to cease all blockades of aid in the occupied Palestinian territory.
