At the same time, violence against humanitarians has reached an alarming level, with a growing number of attacks, injuries, kidnappings, and loss of life.
In this context, humanitarian and medical teams work in increasingly dangerous environments. Local staff, who make up the majority of victims, are on the front lines in areas where needs are immense, but where risks are also very high.
Yet, they often remain poorly protected and insufficiently supported in the face of danger.
In this episode, we ask: how can we continue to provide essential care to these populations when the humanitarians there to help are themselves being targeted?
